San Diego - Sept. 16 2008 - The Security Network announced today that Jeanine Jacobson has been selected as the new Executive Director of the internationally recognized security association. In assuming her duties on September 2, 2008, Jacobson will lead the organization's growth as a global resource and nexus for commercializing dual-use technologies in the security, defense and maritime industries. The Security Network in conjunction with The Center for Maritime Systems and Security (CfMSS) is hosting this event to show maritime security products and services working under field conditions above and below the water. The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is holding its 115th convention at the San Diego Convention Center from November 8-12. The conference is expected to attract 25,000 law enforcement professionals to San Diego.
