Goals

The Security Network  has five primary goals:  

  1. Promote the development of dual usage security technologies needed by both public and private sectors.  
      
     
  2. Promote the development and implementation of an actionable regional security plan by developing, testing, and implementing new security concepts, procedures, technologies, and services.

  3. Operate as a national test bed resource through grants from federal and, as appropriate, state agencies.

  4. Develop and maintain a national database of companies (and universities) focused on the security field and of pending RFPs.

  5. Serve as the organizer and lead sponsor of the annual The Security Summit and on-going events, including Working Groups and other regularly scheduled meetings.

Mission

The mission of The Security Network is to advance security by "Fostering Innovation through Collaboration" worldwide.  The non-profit, non-partisan The Security Network promotes rapid commercialization of dual usage security technologies and development of effective regional security.
